As I turned 65 on Australia Day, I wanted to celebrate that milestone with something special. My original thoughts of a trip to Singapore went straight out the window when I found that there was to be an Antarctica flight leaving on that day from Perth.Sadly, my better half was not interested, but that failed to dampen my enthusiasm. We... More

We flew on the Feb 12 flight out of Melbourne. The trip was extremely well organized and professional. We splurged on business class (it was a special occasion) and I would recommend this to anyone who can even remotely afford it, as the passenger to window ratio is almost 1:1, so you dont miss out on anything. The Qantas service... More

We received the Accor Plus Australia Day 2017 Antarctica Flight package via email in late December 2016. We were away overseas at that time and was actually keen to get home so we could call and book this "bucket list" expedition! We were so lucky that there were 4 Standard Economy seats left. The expedition package arrived in the post... More

I decided at last minute due to personal circumstances to take the last seat on Melb NYE flight 2016. The booking staff were so helpful. It cost approx $1200. A far cry from a $8000 plus seat in ice class! The whole trip was a great way to ring in new year. From the roving Penguin to the jazz band... More

My husband and I and a friend of ours went on the Australia Day flight out of Perth 2017. When we booked 7 months ago for my husbands birthday in July and my birthday in January, it seemed like an awful lot of money but we really wanted to do something special. I was worried that something would go wrong... More

Having dreamed about seeing Antarctica for decades, a cruise seemed out of the question. What to do? When Accor Hotels sent me a promo for their Antarctica Flights package my wife bought me the ticket as an Anniversary present. We started with a fabulous dinner the night before with the Captain, Peter Caws, in attendance. There were also Antarctica experts... More

This trip has been on my husband's bucket list for a long time and to celebrate his 50th this year he booked us to fly New Years Eve. I had high expectations of this experience and it far exceeded them. We flew Premium Economy and I would recommend this area of the plane to everyone. Comfortable seats, lots of leg... More

I normally travel business or first, so I paid the for first class. Why Not, seeing the Antarctic is a great experience - and it was. Unfortunately - the plane that is chartered is always the oldest available in the Qantas fleet. IT WAS SHOCKING; budget sparkling, chose my dinner, told "sorry, we ran out of that" it was definitely... More

Thank you for your post. I am concerned that your experience in the Premium cabin of the aircraft did not meet your expectations. Of greater concern is that I haven't been made aware of your feedback; and as such, immediate follow up with Qantas with regards to meal selection and champagne quality wasn't undertaken. We pride ourselves on offering a... More

There are some real reasons why people cant visit the Antarctic by ship - health, age, money - but it is more than worth it to save the pennies and actually experience this most beautful part of the world. I have been by sea twice and then took my grandson on a flight. I know I should have predicted being... More

Thank you for your post. I certainly agree that experiencing Antarctica by ship is the ultimate way to discover the last great wilderness. We at Antarctica flights, provide a service to those who simply do not have the time, money or desire to either fly to South America or embark on a two week voyage from Australia or New Zealand.... Saw an ad for the Sydney flight on Facebook and thought "what an amazingly different gift for my son for his 21st". So I booked for him and thought to myself "why aren't I going too" so booked for myself, didn't want the son having all the fun. Haha. the flight from Sydney was on board a Qantas 747 with... More
