I don't have to tell you that the Falls are beautiful but the park is easy to get to and it's free. One of the highlights of my road trip up the North Shore. I really enjoying walking around

Gooseberry is always one of our favorite stops when exploring the north shore. They have a nice visitor center with bathrooms and gift shop. The hikes around the area are easy and quick and the scenery around the falls is beautiful!

Beautiful and well kept trails with nature at its best with the fall colors in all its glory. We hiked to all the waterfalls and enjoyed each and every one. We will be back to camp next year with our kayak.

It's gooseberry, if your reading this review to see if you should go, it's a no-brainer, go! Pet friendly, just clean up after them. Keep the small kids near you, the currant will grab them if your not careful.

A nice walk around the 3 waterfalls, there are paths and bridges to guide you around but watch your footing during rain. a good visitors centre and parking

The had been rainy so the falls were powerful. The loop trail from the visitor’s center was pretty easy to do. There were a few steep areas but the views were well worth the walk.

Gooseberry Falls was one of our stops on the waterfall tour. The water level was higher than we have ever seen which made it difficult to walk around the lower Falls, but the view/photos are spectacular! A must see on the North Shore!

We went on September 23, and it was very busy. We had to pay and park in the camping area, but that turned out to be a good thing. We were able to see the shore of Lake Superior, and where the river flows into...More

It looks like you can buy a one day permit for $5.00 or a year long permit for all 75 parks for $25.00. when we went I didn't know that, drove in, enjoyed the park and left. I didn't see any signs, but found the fees on the... More

The easy answer is this: the highest levels would be after a significant rainfall. I don't think the water flow is controlled by a dam upstream. Sorry I can't be of more help. Call the visitor center for a realistic answer... More
