Our staff will be delighted to explain in detail the wine making process of the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino. Wine lovers can then indulge in tasting a glass of their favourite wines in the tasting room or on the large outdoor terrace located in a recently restored Tuscan country house opposite the cellar. Visits and wine tastings are available upon reservation in Italian,English and Japanese. How to reach us: From Montalcino ( 15' ) Once in Montalcino, at the top of the hill, alongside the Fortress, you will come to a roundabout. Take the last exit off the roundabout heading towards Castelnuovo Dell'Abate/Abbazia S. Antimo/Mont Amiata. Continue following this road for about 8 km and arrive in Castelnuovo Dell' Abate. Immediately after the white sign for Castelnuovo Dell' Abate make a hard right-hand turn do not follow the road up into the village keeping the left towards Sant'Angelo in Colle. After about 1km you will find us, Wine Tasting - Ciacci Piccolomini d' Aragona, on your left. We suggest you to do not use GPS, if you want to use it enter as your destination Castelnuovo dell'Abate and follow the mentioned directions as above.

Very informative wine tour and very good opportunity to tast the awesome wine. We were late for the tour but they allowed us to join the tour with the rest of the people. It is very kind of them.

Tour and tasting were superb. Very informative and delicious wines. Our lovely guide spoke excellent English and shared a lot of information. It is well worth the tasting fee to experience this winery.

We did ship only what we knew we couldn't find at home, but it was no problem. The wineries facilitated it, and actually, a tip... Castello Banfi was able to take all of our wines assembled throughout the trip and ship it... More

Ciao, I think it costs about 100 Euro to ship a case of wine (12 bottles) back to the US. You can mix a case and Ciacci can handle the rest. Many, many places ship wine to the US and the cost is roughly the same to ship.
