A real look back into our history. You see many beautiful handmade items and a wonderful old house. It is being preserved very well and showcases early American workmanship. It also shows how the upper class lived in early America.

We were so happy that we visited this amazing home of Jefferson Davis. The furnishings were original and it was an educational trip.

First, I would ask that you read the other TrAdv reviews as they either toured the grounds or costed the library (upstairs floor). Even though (in my opinion) visitors are attracted to Beauvoir be use of Jefferson Davis, you leave partly with an understanding &...More

Yes, the library and museum are restored. You can tour those two free. We paid to tour the house and grounds and thoroughly enjoyed it. As for a zoo...I don't recall a zoo being near by.
