The music is hot, and the food matches it just fine. It's a perfect setting on Delta Avenue, day or night.

The lure of going to Morgan Freeman's place was strong. The vibe there was cool. The wait staff were awesome. Nice selection of fried food. A fun environment. But with a so-so, all-white non-blues band and an all-white, seemingly all-tourist audience, the night we were there just didn't feel ~authentic~. With so few blues places in town, surely there's time... More

After years of passing down Hwy 61 on way to Greenville we decided to detour and visit Ground Zero. We only saw the outside of blues bar due to time constraints. I absolutely love the area, took some videos, met friendly people and vow to stop again.

We ate lunch here and enjoyed it. The building itself is fun and funky. We weren't there when they had a band so I can't comment. I enjoyed the Homewrecker chicken sandwich and my friend said the fried chicken, green beans and turnip greens were good. Service was good.

My husband and I stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy. We ordered the tamales and a few drinks. The tamales were awesome! Loved the atmosphere!

Howl-N-Madd Cheesesteak Sammich and PO Mann Sammich with turnip greens and fried green tomatoes! All were very good. The atmosphere was very interesting. A must stop before stopping at intersection of 61 & 49 to sell your soul to the devil.

Good food and awesome music. The atmosphere was great and it looks as if the restaurant has been there forever (it was opened in 2001). The beer selection was not very good, but with good music, who cares?
