There are days when I can't get enough of the sun, sand, and surf fishing; there are others when I think the tide washed in the trash. It's a great destination for local families to enjoy. Be aware of holiday traffic, because you can easily...More

I have to say this was pretty but the beach is very shelly-meaning lots of crushed shells upon entry into the water. Definitely not bare feet friendly. This was not my favorite beach-but I didn't find one that I really did like in Mississippi. However-it...More

Ocean Springs front beach has the best view day or night. Not so long that you can’t walk it, and long enough to get a little exercise. There are a few piers for fishing too. A park for the kids with a splash pad and...More

We did not actually go on the beach, but it was a delightful little place -- uncrowded and easy to park in the area. Great view of the Biloxi-Ocean Spings bridge (which we drove over the night before--gorgeous bridge.) There were a few families and...More

Beaches were cleaner than Biloxi by far. Children could enjoy sand and then rinse off. Splash pad across the street that was kid and dog friendly. Playground with shady picnic tables across from beach with bathrooms. Piers to walk out on to fish. Three views...More

Went and took my sister to see the beach at Ocean Springs front beach and parked at Fort Maurepas. We enjoyed the full moon and used our Star Walk app to look at all the stars and get an idea of where all the constellations...More

The beach was pristine clean and easy walking access from the town. There is a volleyball net, but no other conveniences or services. No drinks stands, umbrella rentals, lifeguard, etc. Bring your own stuff!

It is a sand beach. The sand is not sparkling white nor is it dark and coarse. The water gradually becomes deeper as you move out from the beach. You'll see shells and crabs! You will see boats pass and shore birds. My... More
