We visited the Shearwater Pottery first, and then the museum. I recommend the Museum first. The Pottery site and store will be much more meaningful. I was pleasantly surprised - who would have guessed that a family's story of the pottery business could be so...More

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this museum. Glad I made the drive from Gulfport. I wish there were more prints for sale. Most of them are not licensed to be sold.

We saw the "Cats" show of Anderson's work. Very good indeed! You can see the murals too, which make an impressive show. taken all in at once.

WAlter Anderson? I had never heard of him. BUT once in this museum and hearing his story, his work is beautiful, and imaginative. This is a must see while in Ocean Springs. I really enjoyed it.
