You can imagine how grand this house must have been. The area has received a lot of rain, so paths were muddy. Not ideal conditions, but it was a beautiful to photograph.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we went here. But, I was surprised at how beautiful it was. It isn't hard to find, but there is little to no signal in this area. If using a GPS, make sure to have it loaded up...More

These ruins are very interesting. A small sign explains more about these ruins. Very mysterious and intriguing, also due to its desolate location. I'd give it five stars if it wasn't for the 1000 mosquitos.

A complete breathtaking historical site. It was a high lite of our trip and could have spent several more hours wondering the grounds.

We came around a bend in the road and there it was looking like the Parthenon standing in the middle of the woods! Just amazing and one needs to see for oneself because words cannot really describe it!

Driving to the ruins is interesting. You think you are never going to get there and then there it is. Long driveway, no facilities, just the remains of a Grand Home. You can walk all the way around but not inside the ruins. Pictures galore....More
