Silver Dollar City is a nice park but our visit was way too crowded to enjoy it. To start, it was over an hour to drive four miles to get to the park. The park was then so crowded that it was difficult to move around. All the lines were well over an bout wait, and this included the food... More

We had one of the best visits ever. Lines were not to long and the kids got to ride every ride they wanted and even several twice.

We had a great time at SDC. Rode lots of rides, Wildfire (our favorite), Giant Swing, Fire in the hole (a classic), Thunderation, The Train ride and others. We ate at the Pizza place. I always enjoy talking to Mark when We are there. He is one of the craftsmen on the town square near the homestead cabin. He makes... More

I love love love Silver Dollar City -- I live about 90 minutes away and visit at least 3-4 times per year, starting from when I was just a small kid. As someone who has been there a ton I thought I might offer a few tips to make your visit more enjoyable. - Unless you have no other choice,... More

On March 22 my son and a friend wanted to go to silver dollar city for a birthday celebration. Obviously spring break and great weather and the management had no clue as they didn't prepare for the guests. Parking took over 1 hour and then you had to get into the park at which point every ride and food booth... More

Lots of fun! We got Thursday tickets from Country Mart...35 dollars each. Loved the roller coasters and water rides!

We were just at SDC a couple of days ago. Even though many shops and concessions in the park are not open yet, it appears that the park was way under-staffed. The lines for food were WAY long. I waited nearly 30 minutes for a hot dog. I waited about the same amount of time at one of the new... More

I've been about every year for the last 15 years, family friendly, cheap for an amusement part, park is clean, rides are fun and most the time lines are short for the rides.

Although our trip placed us in Silver Dollar City in 48 degree weather, we stayed from 9-5. Kids all had great time on rides. There was plenty to see even with several attractions not open yet. Interaction with staff was very friendly. We live in Hot Springs and wish Magic Springs was nearly this friendly. Be prepared to walk up... More
