I've been in several caves and this one is the most beautiful that I have ever seen! It is a must when visiting Silver Dollar City plus its included in your day pass.

I've experienced this cave many times, but is special to experience it the first time with my kids. The best thing is to view below at the top viewing area, then to see how the optical illusion grows and grows, as a visitor descends. Tour guides are well-equipped with the history of the cave, and it is very interesting. It... More

Our family (2 adults, 12 year old, 10 year old) really enjoyed this lantern tour. I would like to take them again in daylight to see the difference. I have been on both tours now, and enjoyed both. I did the lantern tour to allow my kids the "explore like a pioneer" experience. We heard a lot of neat stories... More

I had a good time, however I was so out of breath. They say people with back and knee problems prolly shouldn't go down there. I think you have to be in good shape to do this tour. My favorite part was the ride up at the end.

We enjoyed the guided tour of Marvel Cave. There is a little physical exertion required so if you are infirm or elderly, you want to think carefully of taking this tour as their are slippery surfaces and a lot of stairs (both up and down) to walk.

Prepare for some stairs. This is not for those that aren't up for a little strenuous activity or have knee problems, but it is well worth it. I have visited several caves and have visited Marvel cave during the daylight. It is huge and may not contain a lot of beautiful formations that I've witnessed in other caves, but the... More

We enjoy visiting Silver Dollar City, and many times we take a break from the sun and heat on a summer day with an escape to Marvel cave. The cave itself is pretty awesome, and worth seeing over and over. The large entry room itself is impressive. The rest of the trip is also very interesting. Definiately worth a visit!... More

This is the best part of Silver Dollar City, you have got to go and see what got the whole thing started. Granted you need to be able to climb a lot of steps (so be prepared for some cardio), but it is truly amazing to see. There are a couple of tight spaces, I didn't ever get that "closed... More
