Perhaps we are spoiled by our train rides in Alaska and Maine, but it is a stretch to call this scenic. The train employees were very polite, the train was old, but clean. A/C was a little underperforming, and it was a mild day. I would not do this again as there was not that much scenic viewing.

A bit disappointing. I thought I would see way more water features. The train had vintage cars but it was a bit smelly. I enjoyed the scenery for the most part but I can imagine more breath taking views during the Fall. The conductors were great. Who doesn't enjoy taking a nap on a long train ride. Loved going to... Took our family of 4 (boy 8, girl 6) on the train. Staff was friendly and cars were clean. The best part was going through 2 tunnels (4 total, if counting the return trip) on the 2 hour trip. In spring, there was not a whole lot unique to see, just blooming trees, there were 2 bridges that had some... More

Although I wouldn't really call it a "scenic" train ride this time of year, it really didn't matter. We were lucky enough to be seated with another great couple so between eating & great conversation we hardly even looked out the window. The food could have been outstanding, had it not been for the RAW prime rib. I like my... More

The trip was about 45 minutes. Was able to see some of the back area of branson. When we got back it was very windy and my husband lost his hat under the train. They told him not to worry that they working it up to the station for him. They didn't take to long to bring it back

The PA sound system on and off of the train wasn't much more than just noise. The train itself, although superficially clean, was rather smelly inside. The journey was a slow forth-and-back (Do not take "Round" Trip literally !) on a 20-mile track .... over the river and through the woods. Although there was an awesome steep valley to look... More

We love riding trains, and this is one to enjoy. The rail cars are all vintage, many from the 30's. The staff were great and shared a lot of great information along the trip. They also have a few of the neat "dome" cars for really great viewing.

We took the Branson Scenic Railway train. The Train ride was nice but I was expecting to have more scenic views. Was a little disappointed. You do get a little history of the areas we go thorough which was a plus. If you want to go for a train ride that doesn't last the whole day, this is the one.... More
