Very pleasant and helpful staff. Clean campground. But the campground has peculiarly bad design. Clearly whomever was responsible for designing the grounds never spent a night in an RV. All RV doors are on the right side of the vehicle. Therefore campgrounds are designed with picnic tables, fire pits, lantern poles, etc, to the left of the parking pad so... More

We will be going back to camp for sure. We missed our turn for another spot we normally put our Seadoos in at and ended up at Indian Point. It was clean, well maintained, and almost quiet, as quiet as you can get for a campground.

This is a beautiful park with nice marina facilities and beach is pretty good. The campground is very shady in most sites. Many of the roads are narrow with steep drop offs and sharp turns, making navigating with a 35' fifth wheel a bit stressful, but not impossible. Some of the sites appear to be pretty level, and all of... More

Very nice campground. Large spacious sites with BBQ grill, fire pit, picnic table and lots of shade. No sites are close to the water except 60. Some sites have a view of the marina. Sites have water and electricity, no sewer. Our site 53, a pull through, was supposed to accommodate a 40 ft RV. It was very difficult to... More

After heading to Moonshine Beach and being told it was closed due to high water, I asked this guy working the booth if there was something else similar to Moonshine Beach. He said Indian Point Public Beach. So, after fighting all of the Silver Dollar City traffic at 1000 am, we finally found this place. We paid our $4 and... More

We went here for the day to swim at the beach. We were planning on going to moonshine beach, but it was closed due to high water. The water was really high at Indian point too, but we made the best of it, and it still turned out to be a really nice day. There was a lot of shade,... More

I'm tired of all the hype from Compton Ridge and higher prices, so hey, off to the state park!! For just 21 dollars a night I got a great spot with electric and water. No cable. No sewer, but a great value. The onsite personnel were awesome and kind to deal with. Very helpful with my questions, and from the... More

We visited this campground June 16, 2014-June 18, 2014 to spend time with family. We reserved site #9 and will not reserve that one ever again even though it was a pull through. The campground is clean but they do not have very many showers for the size of the campground. They don't have septic but do have a dump... More

Shingle beach area with specific swimming area. Take your own life jackets if not confident out of your depth or there are some there on first come first served basis. Only five dollars per day all day to park and use facilities. A couple of picnic benches and toilets. Site very clean. Next to marina where there are boats to... More

We camped for 1 week in our camper. The sites are nice and most very shaded lots of room in the whole place not too crowded because it is so big.
