Great fishing and sightseeing.

I fished for trout from the dock at Lakeshore Resort and enjoyed the sights of seeing the boats and traffic on the lake.

Excellent trout fishing. We had no problems catching our limit every day. There are plenty of spots to fish from shore or take advantage of a boat rental.

While looking for something different to do in Branson, we rented a 22 foot pontoon boat from LilliesLanding marina for a 5 hour cruise up and down the river. There is no way to get lost and the current was not threatening to an inexperienced driver. We packed a lunch and enjoyed the day in the sun. This is a... More

Stumbled upon this while driving from the Branson Belle. It was a beautiful waterfall that sounded so powerful from the recent rains. We were able to take some awesome photos.

We had plans to spend a day in Branson walking along the water and picnicking at Taneycomo but alas continuous rains flooded our options. Speaking of flooding, the park area was ALL UNDERWATER at the beginning of our week (early May) and while no longer wet at the end of the week, we still had the roads/parks/pavilions blocked off and... This is a very nice lake in a beautiful Ozark setting. Although I am not a fisherman, I hear the fishing is good. There are some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Its definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We had to take a drive down below the dam so we could see Mr. Trout. Well, at least anglers after Mr. Trout. Happy family memories at this special place.
