High on a hill above Highway 76 stands Branson's Butterfly Palace, the majestic home of the most magnificent collection of butterflies in the Midwest. It's a beautiful place where visitors can walk among thousands of tropical rainforest butterflies, imported from butterfly farms around the world, and experience their beauty and freedom while learning about their life cycle and ecological importance.... Fun and interesting. We got there just in time to help release the newly hatched butterflies. Unique.

You get a vial with a silk flower filled with sugar water to walk with - Kinda neat to have butterflies flexing their wings a foot from your eyes. I was there for the pet-a-critter moment too - only 10:30 and 2:30.

Thank you for your review, we're glad you enjoyed the nectar flowers! We do critter encounters twice a day at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM as well as live butterfly releases where we let our guests help release our newly emerged butterflies into the aviary at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. I hope you were able to enjoy all of... More

I've never been to an interactive butterfly place before but I highly recommend this experience to all ages. You get to walk among butterflies that actually land on you or the flower like pod you carry that has sugar water in it. They didn't tell us to squeeze the flower pod but if you get the flower wet, the butterflies... More

Thank you so much for you awesome review! Our nectar flowers have really been a big hit, we're glad that you enjoyed them! It really gives our guests the opportunity to get up close to the butterflies. They are attracted to bright colors so the red of the flower draws them in to feed! It sounds like you may have... Such a fun time having the butterflies land on you! The kids (age 4 and 2) really enjoyed watching the butterflies and were really excited when they landed on them. They also were able to participate in the release of new butterflies.

This place was extraordinary and distinctive. I don't think I've seen or heard of any other place like it. The entry fee was fair considering the unique experience provided. It was educational and fun. I took fabulous pictures and videos. The butterflies would have driven Dolly Parton and Mariah Carey wild! The rainforest creatures were awesome as well.

First time visiting, and did it because we had a couple of hours to kill. Really loved being in with all the butterflies. A musician was playing the hammered dulcimer while we were there, which added to the experience. They had some cute activities for the kids, like a "jungle path" maze. They also took a reptile out of its... More

Beautiful building with plenty of parking. Two floors, no elevator that we saw just a ramp. Extremely clean, awesome gift shop. The butterfly room took my breath away, so calming...We were handed faux flowers with nectar to attract them and it worked! Staff were extremely attentive....The butterfly release made my day!

The butterflies are plentiful and beautiful! They hand out vials of nectar to draw the butterflies to you and you will have many land on you. A hall of mirrors and a lizard, turtle & amphibian exhibit as well. Fun souvenirs and a really nice attraction for young and old! Very nice indoor garden spot to enjoy too!
