This is a small zoo but the hands on and up close view is awesome! You can feed the parakeets in their aviary. You can buy small cups of food to feed ostriches, kangaroos, deer, prairie dogs, capybara, alpacas, goats, ect. Animal Shows let you see up close and touch 4 or animals that aren’t on display. Kids really love this,... More

Didn't think it would be very good, but it was enjoyable. Loved the animals, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's always a joy to see the wildlife. They have quite a few more than I thought would go again.

We had an amazing visit! Despite a rainy day, the staff did a wonderful job of personalizing our experience and allowing us some unforgettable interactions with the animals on site. They clearly care deeply for the wildlife at their location, which makes the experience all the better for visitors. During our visit, we got to interact with sloths, a kangaroo,... More

The personal hands on experience at the Promised Land Zoo is hands down the best that we have ever experienced. We were able to hold a baby kangaroo, a snake and an Australian Singing Dog. We were able to pet about 8 small animals that included a bull frog, prairie dog and hedgehog. We also got to feed lemurs. Plus... More

Absolutely the most expensive zoo we have ever visited. Not many animals at all. Very clean however staff very friendly. But was a big disappointment as far as zoos go. They are building a new one that is supposed to be 75 acres maybe it will be better.

For starters, I think the Promised Land Zoos are a good deal as a package of 2. I think it's a little high to purchase full price for either. I really enjoyed all the animals at this little zoo and liked getting to touch a few and bottle feed some animals. The parakeet room was a little overwhelming for our... More

We met with Mr. Josh (owner) at both zoos in mid April on our honeymoon- he gave us a personal tour of both zoos and it was an amazing experience. It's a small zoo, but you can tell they really care about each animal. We got to see many more of the animals up close than I expected (safely, of... More

This is hard for us to review as we have very mixed feelings. We went out of our way on our trip as our daughter loves sloths and we wanted to surprise her. I give the sloth encounter five stars as the young girl who went in with her was friendly and made for a great experience. Thank you. The... More

Small but mighty. Up close and personal encounters with animals and a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. We did a private encounter with a sloth and thoroughly enjoyed the intimacy of the experience. We each got to feed a hold a young sloth, one kept trying to eat my braid. Fun.

We visited the park with a groupon. My husband and I took our two daughters. It was chilly outside so it was nice to not have to sweat at the zoo. We bought several little cups of food to feed the animals and we were able to feed all of the animals that we were allowed to. Most of them... More
