Wonderful drive-in on Old 66

Great place to watch 2 movies for one cost. We are so blessed to have an "old time" drive in movie theater nearby! There are very few still in operation. We miss the old metal speakers that hung on your window, but the sound which is now through your vehicle radio, is probably much better than years past. The owners... More

Don't get to go very often. But you get to see 2 movies for a very low price. I think it's $7.00 a person. They have food there or you can bring your own. They have restrooms and a playground for the kids.

Our family frequents this drive-in often. Having a large family can cost a small fortune when going to the movies. This allows us to take the kids to see two movies for the price of one. It's nice to see a drive in theatre still up and going. There is lots of parking available and snacks in the snack bar... More

I am currently doing Route 66 with my father and brothers, we stopped at this iconic Route 66 landmark, we pulled onto the parking lot, all got out and within 1 minute approached by a rude, aggressive man talking to us like crap " where are you from, England we say, you people don't respect our laws" My father apologised... Get your favorite partner, blankets and lawn chairs. Brings back wonderful memories. Going to the drive-in. It's a dying entertainment, but, the 66 in Carthage, Mo is keeping it alive and doing a fantastic job of it.

We love the drive in. The price did go up this past year but where else can you see 2 movies for less than the price of 1 theater ticket. I love that we can bring our own snacks and drinks ( not that we don't have to buy a pickle or nacho on occasion ). It's just a neat... More

My family and I recently went to the 66 Drive-in, the grounds were clean and I found it to be a safe environment. We visited the snack bar and the prices were well below a regular theater. We had a great time and would recommend it to any family 🙂

I personally think that it's prices are very reasonable and much better than going to a movie theatre that cost a ton also this will be a memorable experience for the kids ,great movie choices all the time and you can even bring your own food!there is a cool snack bar and a little playground at the front for entertaining... I know that this a classic but it is rundown.Snack prices are too high. They also only show kiddies movies.I would rather rather drive to Tulsa. They have a drive -in that is modern and not rundown.

The 66 Drive-In Theatre is just a few blocks from where I live, and I go at least twice a month, if I can. It's historical, lots of fun, and extremely affordable! You get to watch two new released movies for the price of one movie that you'd see at the outdated, expensive, and filthy theater in the next town... More
