Secret watering hole
May 2019 • Friends
My family has visited this park many times. We have walked the trails, attended parties, played on the swings, dug for "bones" in the playground sand pit and climbed on the Frog. All the wonderful things you think about a park, you can find at Indian Camp Creek.

Last summer my friend introduced me to an area I had not discovered. Why I didnt know this I don't know. But you can walk down to the creek and play in the water. Kids of all ages can enjoy cooking off in the creek, and the view is beautiful.

I believe the creek feature sets this park apart from all the others.

Just a nice park

Great place to take a walk drive or ride a horse. Along a small river the park is a very pleasant experience. Located just on the line of Lincoln County and St. Charles County.

Spending a day outside in Nature!
Aug. 2017 • Family
This is a clean park for all ages to enjoy. There are walking and biking trails and even trails to ride your horse on if you choose. There are a couple of play ground areas, clean bathrooms and even a tower to climb the stairs for a view or the surrounding area. Picnic tables and even camp sites. To reserve a pavilion or have a Barbecue contact the Park Rangers Office.

Beautiful Morning at the park
Jun. 2017 • Family
I visited on a Monday morning around 9:00 a.m. with my husband and children ages 3 and 7. We drove around to check out the park first. They have lots of pavilions/picnic areas spread out along the park. Each area offers either fishing, a play ground area, hiking or another attraction. We climbed the steps of the lookout tower which my kids loved. The kids played in the small water area with turtle statues and last we headed to the first recreation area which offers a great playground and a path leading to the creek. The park is fun for all ages. Bring lunch, folding chairs, water shoes and enjoy the day!

Perfect Family Day
Jun. 2017 • Family
Went to the park for the first time. It is the largest park in St. Charles County at over 600 acres. Has a play ground, horse and hiking trails and many picnic areas. Also has a look out tower, skeleton of the original house on the property and is very peaceful. The best part is the stream that runs thru the park. Pebbles and sand make up the creek bed. Water is knee deep in most areas, but there are some deeper parts to swim in. Water is clear. There are parts to sit in the shade while the kids play in the water. Bring sunscreen, something to drink and towels. There are rest rooms, but they have composting toilets which in the summer time are hot and very smelly. Over all it was a great, free family day of sun and fun in the cool water.

Love the equestrian trails
Aug. 2016
Equestrian trails are well maintained and not too challenging for the casual trail rider. The trailer parking area is clean and there is plenty of room for trailers to park.
