Rockcliffe Mansion is an amazing Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred SF, Thirty room, Grand Residence built to overlook the Mighty Mississippi between 1898 and 1900 by Lumber Baron John J Cruikshank, Jr. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Most of the original antique furnishings and fixtures are preserved. The Mansion is filled with rich Mahogany, Oak and Walnut appointments, magnificent Palladian windows and the finest interior decorations from Europe and America. Guided Tours are available daily. Absolutely loved this place...a wonderful chance to step back in time and get a glimpse of a bygone era. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and the craftsmanship amazing! My tour guide Debbie was so knowledgeable and informative...a wonderful experience!

Great piece of history to tour. Staff very informative. Entry fee goes toward restoration of the home. Recommend children age 8 and above.

Absolutely a great tour of years gone by. Love the old furnishings. Deb was our tour guide. She did a wonderful job answering any questions. The outside of the building is a work in progress. Sat empty for 43 years.
