We went on a friday in October. The best part was the buildings in the front before you even get on the guided part of the tour. Great history of the area. The farm was pretty. Still in a growth period. Transitioning I think. Very...More

We saw the Civil War re--enactment, but if it wasn't for this it was very underwhelming. My husband enjoys history, but outside of the video, it was very lacking. Maybe a normal weekend would be better.

We tried the new Black Horse (?) Distillery, owned by the Dierberg clan. Not a huge variety, but if ok, for being new and not very aged. Pricey for what it was, though.

The tour was wonderful and great amount of knowledge. Only negative was the speaker the person was using to speak through was very hard to hear.

The farm tram tour is worth it! This was one of the best things we did on our little get away to Hermann. It was the most authentic part of the trip and as it turns out one of the only things open on a...More

We paid $18 a person. We thought that was pretty pricey but it is a long tour and we got to see a lot of things. They said the farm is closed for the winter but will reopen in the spring.
