About
Located just 45 minutes east of Kansas City, Arcadian Moon opened its doors in 2013 with a focus on Midwestern varietals and a desire to become one of Missouri's best winery destinations. Since then, we've added live music on Saturdays and Sundays from spring to fall, opened a kitchen serving wood-fired pizzas and casual cuisine seven days a week, and is now one of Missouri's newest craft breweries.

Very disappointing - NOT worth the money
Dec. 2020
The room was not ready. We had to wait an hour to get in. There was no heat. I went to the bar and they brought up a space heater. We were wrapped in blanket the whole stay. Coffee pot, but not cups. Go to the bar for ice. The view of the lake was nice, but the missing blinds made it difficult (impossible) to sleep in. - - - Reservations can only be made through airBnB. The review I wrote on airBnB still hasn't appeared. Room was over $150.00 - NOT worth it - - - Left Brandon (owner) details on airBnB, but he has never contacted me about these issues.

Disappointed
Oct. 2020
For me, I have certain expectations of wineries as I worked for a winery for three years. Arcadian Moon Winery and Brewery sits off I-70 on 75 acres with four ponds. Very beautiful grounds! They have lakeside tables for warmer weather and a nice outside patio. No vine lines in sight and I was absolutely surprised and confused when the server told us they only have 2 wines of their blends on hand and the rest of their recipes are made by Saint James.

I don't understand the partnership with Saint James in this concept...? The server and other staff member weren't sure how if/when Arcadian was going to put up lines or break away from Saint James, but both were very nice and friendly, but neither knew how to describe their only 2 wines and neither seemed to know Saint James. If your going to use another winery as a source is one thing, to sell their product though you should know what your selling, your label or not.

My wife and I tasted three wines and only the Vignoles the winner. The best part of the visit was the truffle fries and wood-oven pizza, it was amazing food, but the wine lacks. I would not recommend this winery.

Nice outdoor relax with a drink place
Oct. 2020
I stopped by here on my way back to Kansas City for lunch. They are off old 40 Hwy which runs parallel to I-70. So it is easy to get to and at the same time far enough way from the Interstate to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

They are winery, brewery and food place with large outside patio area (tiered) that butts up to a pond. On a warm day (80s) in October. I wanted to try their beer/wine and have lunch. I tried the only beer they make on the property which was an IPA. They had other beers but they were from other breweries. Covid has also hit their supply of wines. They are partnered with St James, and sold their wines. But my tap room hostess indicated that they had several bottles of their wine but COVID interrupted production, so they were limited to what was left, mostly sweet wines (I am more partial to drys.) I did like their IPA, but it wasn't "special" as in I wanted a growler of it. I did have their Mediterranean salad ($10) the ingredients were fresh and it was tasty and huge! I ended up taking home the rest and made about 3 meals total of it.

This is a nice place to hang out, enjoy wine ( or beer) and food and just relax. The tree shaded patio is probably it's biggest asset. I was a nice stop for a break from the drive.

Beautiful place
Jul. 2020 • Friends
Winery and grounds were beautiful and peaceful with lots of seating options. They did have a couple of their own wines and other wineries to choose from and enjoy by the lake. Even had a couple craft beers of their own. Food available as well.

Stopped by to meet some friends for dinner as we traveled through the state. The location is very pretty and we enjoyed eating on the deck.
We ordered a couple of pizzas and gyros. The pizza crust was good but the sauce was barely there. I would expect a good amount of cheese if there were four types on it but it was also barely there.
The gyro was good with fresh cucumbers and dressing. Good balsamic dressing really hit the spot.
The beers we had were okay but nothing I would say was exceptional.

Pretty and relaxing
Jul. 2020 • Family
Visited on July 4th with a large group for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.
Sangria was excellent and all food choices we made were good as well.
The location is so calming and pretty to just sit and enjoy.
Our server was friendly and fairly quick.
Will definitely stop by again.

Beautiful Winery/Brewery Combination
Jun. 2020 • Couples
Unique location in that it is a winery and brewery and the property is just gorgeous and peaceful. Enjoy a beverage on the deck with spectacular views or walk along the lakes. Do a tasting or even stay there in your RV, as they are a Harvest Host location. We preferred their white wines and it looked like their food menu was delicious. Use the old US 40 address to get there for less travel on dirt roads. We need to support these boutique wineries, a true gem! Highly recommend a stop here!

Lovely setting
Oct. 2019 • Couples
Gorgeous setting. Available for RV dry camping through Harvest Host membership, or spot with full hookups for fee. Facility manager was accommodating and pleasant and fired up the oven to make us a regular and gluten free pizza. It was really windy in Missouri when we were there. Would love to go back and sit by the lake during a beautiful day.

Completely disappointing
Oct. 2019
I am so disappointed. I used to love this place and it has REALLY gone down hill. I hosted a party there and I was embarrassed. They are a winery and did NOT have over half of their wine options. They also were OUT of several beer options. The food was insanely salty. If I go to a winery I don’t expect to only have 3 different wines to choose from. I paid $100 to reserve a room for my party and I wish I would’ve taken my business somewhere else. The only good thing was our waitress who was very accommodating. I am writing this to hopefully inspire the owners to figure some stuff out because this used to be one of my favorite spots in the area and I hope they eventually return to their former glory.

Good atmosphere, good food, bad drinks.
Jul. 2019 • Friends
The atmosphere was good. The food tasted good. The beer and wine were bad. I would go back for the atmosphere and food. I heard they have Miller Lite and maybe some other beer, so I would try that next time. Service was good.
