Considering the number of stone structures seen in this areait would be easy to imagine a thriving early human population. A stone circle with over a hundred stones mean manpower

the Bulhoa menhir that lies in the middle of road from Telheiro to Outeiro worth a stop is you like history and this kind of ancient megalithic structures. see also the Cromeleque do Xeres (nearby)

I think after you see one Cromeleque everything get's to be the same. Although if it's a clean weather it's a perfect spot to stargaze, I think the spot has some "magic" in it to stargaze. There's a company that sells this experiences, ask for...More

amazing... we went there after visiting " cromelenque do xarez", but we liked anyway. it has less stones, but beautiful too

This area of Portugal is rich of ancient traces, this is one of many more possible to visit. Maybe to many people this is meaningless spot, but if to you it is not, do not hesitate to reserve sometime to go here. unfortunately is reachable...More
