This cathedral was where Csars were crowned for quite a bit of Russia's history. The cathedral is beautiful from the outside and stunning inside. It's a must see on any Golden Ring trip.

So many nice churches in Russia and this is yet another classic ! The views from the viewing platform are fantastic but it's the church that is the stand out.

The Assumption Cathedral is beautiful and a definite must see, it’s an open air museum so good to visit in nicer weather.

This cathedral sits on a ridge overlooking the river and countryside. It is large and a little dark inside. Not our favorite church. A little pricey too.
