What an awesome way to spend a few hours ! Though we were too late in the season for icebergs, Captain Keith Pilgrim did everything to make our excursion fun and enjoyable. We found humpbacks and dolphins ...amazing ! And we had a fine time jigging COD for our supper ! ( which Keith graciously gutted and filleted for us ....so glad I didn’t have to do that !} With a Lifetime spent on the water and many years as a fisherman, Keith was a fount of knowledge! I highly recommend spending part of a day out on the water with him !

Great tour - super friendly service. They are actually located in St.Lunaire-Griguet - a very quaint town on the way to L’Anse aux Meadows, north of St.Anthony. Captain Keith is great. We went in to ask information and he ended up offering a tour for just 2 of us on the spot!! Had a great afternoon following a humpback whale and her calf. Highly recommended!

Went out with “Captain” Keith and six passengers. Not only did we see humpback whales but also got introduced to Cod Jigging. Was a perfect day with lots of local information and beautiful scenery. My favourite boat tour yet

Keith did a fabulous job on our tour. No whales on this day, but Keith made sure we had a great time fishing! Caught more Cod than you could count. Catch and release since it was a Tuesday. He worked hard helping all of us with the rods. We had lots of laughs. Even had the experience of pulling in a Halibut! Highly recommend this tour.

Keith was our guide. We left 20mins late as we waited for 2 other people who didnt show. We saw whales rigt away but instead of taking us closer he said they would be there later so we went to see the ice verge (which were amazing). When we returned the whales were nowhere And instead of letting us look for whales or try to watch birds, he took us back to dock 20 mins early. So we were shorted 40mins of the 2 hr tour.

This was a great boat tour: lots of information given, about icebergs and whales: and we saw both : Icebergs and minkes . A cool day, a bit of a breeze, but we were prepared with sweaters and rain-jackets, wind pants, boots, gloves and tuques . Lovely to see the rugged coastline from the water and so exciting to find the whales and icebergs: yes, the captain did chase and find them both. A fantastic day!

This was such a fun tour. Keith took us to see the iceberg from all sides. He even let the guys "net" a broken off piece of ice so that we could all try it. He is soooo easy going and informative. Great Captain and tour guide !!

If you plan on going on a boat tour this is the one you want to book!!! Keith is a hoot...very entertaining to say the least lol He is also very knowledgeable and very experienced. The morning we went out it was pretty foggy but he really made the most of it for us, and it is a very personable tour too so Keith is very accommodating. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Keith Pilgrim will entertain you from the moment you make your reservation to the moment you disembark his boat. If there’s an iceberg that he can get to, he will get you to it. If there are whales to be spotted, he will spot them. Totally down to earth guy. Highly recommended!

While in Gros Morne, decided to venture up to St Anthony and St Lunaire to see the Parks Canada Historic Sites and go whale watching and chasing Icebergs. Keith Pilgrim gave us the most awesome boat tour off the coast of NL, and whales, whales, whales, and Icebergs, and resettled communities. It made our vacation COMPLETE.... to show our gratitude, as a weaver, I gifted him one of my woven Briggs & Little Plaid blankets, Red, Yellow, Black & White, as we are all precious in God's sight...... Keith, we will remember you and our experience for years to come, and will send folks your way. Hi to Yvonne too, and the little guy.

how much does the boat tour cost and how long is it.

Since we were the only 2 on our custom tour, whatever costs could normally be divided (like boat gas) by a larger number of tour people, could not be. We assume the captain takes this into account. Also, since we were only 2, we could ask the captain for a shorter or longer tour. I think we asked for about 2 hours since we had a dog waiting in our car. (Keith graciously said we could bring our dog, but we demurred.) A longer tour would cost more.
