It's in need of a sprucing and needs to be cleaned up. There's garbage everywhere. It's a shame to see this Malecon in such poor shape. The F & B outlets and the many retail stores along the Malecon should chip in to keep their front yard clean. We walked along the beach and that was dirty as well.....sigh. I hope the authorities do something as Paracas is a quaint fishing town.

After our trip to the Islas Bellestas we took a stroll down the Malecon, enjoying the view of the bay full of colorful boats, seeing a guy feeding small fish to three waiting Pelicans, the shops full of handicrafts and souvenirs and finally arriving at a restaurant where we ordered Pisco Sours which were delicious. This is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours at a much more leisurely pace.

Very peaceful beachside walkway. Full of seaside restaurants, some shops. Nice vibe compared to the big city of Lima.

This Malecon is beautiful, you can see the sea, the dock for taking the Ballestas Island tour. You can find many restaurants, hotels, souvenirs and so on. It’s a nice place to stay and get relaxed. Along the Malecon you can see great sculptures of aquatic animals made of iron.
