I highly recommend this little model village to know more about the history of Hobart. It does have so much to teach, it's fun!

Though this attraction is well constructed and quite engaging , it is seriously overpriced almost to the point of being a rip off. Richmond is a very interesting town with many attractions - this is one to avoid.

Visited as thought was a tourist information centre. John, formerly from oxford, who only just knew of the bourton on the water model village, an utter mine of information on all things tourism in Tasmania, right down to drive times... didn't do the model village...More

Entering the village area we were met by a very knowledgeable and entertaining staff member who gave a brief outline and talk on the history of the model. The model was well presented and extremely interested.

Loved the interactive, historical and humorous town. All ages will be sure to enjoy an entertaining visit to the Old Hobart town.Highly recommend it! Value for money👍
