I love walking on the trail here, it's so serene and well kept. There was some damage after the recent flooding on parts of some of the trail but the trail can be safely accessed.

From zoology to geology to bird watching or childhood educational opportunities, Wildcat Glades offers interest for all. Peaceful, secluded, and well done for a small town.

Beautiful grounds and great place to go birding. Had several deer walk right across the path in front of us. The nature center is beautiful, too.

There is a nice visitors center with some animals inside and educational exhibits. There is also a cute playground outside. We took the trails through the wooded area to the creek. There were lots of wildflowers and butterflies. We would definitely go back again.

The center has some great information about the area, and is educational for the kids. The trails around the creek are a lot of fun to hike. But, beware of poison ivy along the edges of the trails.

I visit Wildcat all time. It is beautiful and not far from the city. It has an urban park feeling. You can go further into nature but also there are highways that go over your head. It can get dirty though. There is grafetti everywhere....More

This area is nicely taken care of. While we didn't go into the building, we walked the areas along the creek. Beautiful and peaceful. Marcydiner tantrum scale of 5/5-no screaming kids.

The Chert Glades are very unique and the trail is a nice Southwest Missuori Stream walk. The center itself has virtually nothing to see or do. Great place if you live close to take a River Trail Walk and eat a sack lunch.

The park signs say no. I have seen some people ignore the signs, but the signs are specific about no dogs.

Yes, they have wheelchairs...ask at Welcome Desk. Places to sit down also while viewed the aquarium and a ramp to walk down if steps are a problem. Ask front desk for any help needed as they are very helpful.
