I love fountains so I've always been awed by our great Kansas City fountains all over the city. When it's hot, they give you a "cooler" feeling. When our Royals are in town, they're a beautiful "blue" to support our team!

Not sure why the fountains are considered an attraction by themselves. They're very pretty and there's a lot of them in really cool areas. Definitely something to look at as you walk by on your way to something else

Get a map of the city's fountains and explore! I only got to see a few, but I loved what I saw! What a neat part of the city's history!

We were staying in the Westin in Crown Center, and so enjoyed the fountains across the street. There is a plaza, with big trees, and lots of seating, perfect for picnics with food from Paneras or the Crown Center food court. At noon, and on...More

Had a blast seeking out and photographing the fountains of Kansas City! I only saw a fraction of them, but there are some really beautiful ones.

Kansas City has many attractions, and the fountains around the Plaza are spectacular. Fun to walk around and enjoy the sights, and to take photographs.

KC has amazing fountains. Love the ones by the Plaza. We never get tired of visiting them. I feels like if you are in a European country.

These fountains are one of the things that set Kansas City apart from every other US city. They are numerous and beautiful. It is like being able to visit a high end art gallery outside. Rome has NOTHING on KCMO when it comes to fountains!

There are beautiful fountains on every street. Made for an enjoyable walk back to the hotel after dinner.

There is a map available on the fountains. Look at them and check which way the light is coming from so you know the best time to shoot. (Go to the Arabia museum. Fascinating look at the past)

Hi - I don't think there is a tour of fountains. There are so many, though, that as you go around the area, you'll always see one or two. But, along with the fountains, there are just beautiful statuary, also. We have a big... More
