The city is known for them. You could spend all day driving around to see them, and still couldn't get to all of them, especially those that are hiding in plain sight.

KC has some of the greatest fountains. One of the nice things is a lot are near by and you can walk to see them.

They are scattered about the city and are quite nice. You have to pay attention or you might miss them, though. And there is a campaign to raise funds to maintain them (but I don't know how you donate) anyway, they are a very pretty...More

The Kansas City Water Fountains are so pretty! Throughout the city, there are many designs to look at. Very nice!

I plan my run around town to try to see as many as I can. They are beautiful and serene without a crowd. Children love them too.

I stumbled upon a half dozen fountains near or in Country Club plaza. They are a great and give that part of KC a European air.

If you can find the time to walk the plaza and see the beautiful Art, fountains and parks it's an experience you need to have!! I loved doing a tour of the fountains and learning their history! Wonderful experience I'll never forget. Great for single...More
