If you like roses or the wafting smell of sweet, fragrant roses, visit this garden at the beginning of summer or late spring. You will not be disappointed. Great place to sit and enjoy.

Come early in the spring as the roses are budding. Or in full season June and July. I was there later but still was great to see the roses.

Loose Park was the site of a heated battle during the Civil War. Today, it is a charming and peaceful spot with a gorgeous rose garden featuring many varieties of roses. Nice for walking or just relaxing.

If you love roses, this is a park you must visit. There are many varieties and they are well marked . It is very pleasant to stroll through it and there are benches for resting by the fountain.

Beautiful Scenery for our engagement photos. It was very sunny so some of my photos have us squinting but our photographer got some good shots I am very pleased.

I love this rose garden. There are many, many varieties of roses, all with little name plaques. Sometimes there is live music in the rose garden, just bring a picnic and a blanket and have a nice relaxing evening enjoying KC outdoors!

We went about 9am. It is beautiful and I wanted to linger and enjoy it but it was very hot! There's not much shade nearby and no breeze so we didn't stay long. I loved seeing the volunteers keeping it tended and they were so friendly and glad to see us visit. The fountain is beautiful!

Very nice park with lots of open areas, rose garden, and even some historical things like a cannon from the civil war. Good stop for the family
