The Kemper Museum provides the visitor an intimate experience of contemporary art. The exhibition halls are not very large and the proximity to the art makes for a wonderful experience. Temporary exhibitions are curated with care and there is always a feeling of freshness when...More

Surprised by the small size of the museum. Our docent was difficult to understand but seemed to have good knowledge of what we could hear.

Even though we do not search out modern art museums, this one was really great. The special exhibits there in December were very interesting. And it is free. Do not miss this one.

What a different style of exhibitions. Local artist on display, truly unique exhibits not offered everywhere in a cozy intimate setting.

The current exhibit (until 7 Jan 2018) of contemporary American portraits is sensational in that it displays more than 40 paintings and digital photos etc. by around 40 different artists. It will blow you away!

We found easy (free) parking right by the rear doors. The lot was still open when we left.
