Amazing resource for the community. Lots of great classes about all things nature and Missouri wildlife, and it's all made available for free! I have learned so much from the fantastic resources at the discovery center and the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Great programs - from how to harvest tree sap to birds of KC. Great activities for kids - build a bird house and others. Friendly staff and volunteers. Nice facility. Lots of available info on local trees, weeds, fish, and wildlife.

This urban conservation site is on ten acres. It has many things to do for all ages and it's free. It's open 8-5 M-F and 9-4 on first and third Saturday's.
