This is a beautiful library downtown KC. Whenever I'm there I always enjoy it. Good coffee shop there, also.

This place has very interesting architecture. I was very surprised that it did not have a bigger used book store or a map of the interior at the entrance. I was able to get a library card within a couple of minutes. The parking garage...More

Okay, yes, it's a library, but there is a vault downstairs and amazing children's section upstairs, impressive architecture everywhere, life size chess on the roof and of course, books. Even the parking garage is cool. Check it out!

Did you know that the huge books on the outside of the parking garage are known across the globe as a "must see" for book lovers? This is a gorgeous library that offers local history and a ton of great events.

Wandered in by accident while walking around enjoying the architecture. Amazing re-purposing of an old building.

I really enjoyed the exhibit. This is a really unique exhibit looking at how Kansas City affected the Panhandle of Texas. It is in the beautiful Kansas City Public Library. I wouldn't have thought about there being an exhibit at the Library but it was...More

We were there looking into their genealogical archives and could've spent a few more hours in that section. I would've liked to have had more time overall, but it was our last stop before the airport.
