Touring this beautifully sited and designed -- I mean, duh, Frank Lloyd Wright -- example of a Usonian house was a fantastic experience. It is so lovingly cared for and spoken about by the docents who lead the tours. Also a wonderfully intimate experience, since...More

Wonderful example of Frank Lloyd Wright's dedication to working with nature. This home can only be seen with a docent by reserving a place in advance. Much of the original furnishings and fixtures are still in place. If you are an architecture/design buff, you will...More

I’ve toured many Frank Lloyd Wright homes around the country. This one is different. It was designed for a client of modest means. It is only 1,700 sq. ft. That said, it is no Everyman house! It was designed by FLW late in his career....More

Very experienced tour guide, walked the grounds, full tour of house, plus video and gift shop in tool house. Learned a great deal about the plan for this house and its design using parallelograms.

This was my first tour of a FLW home and I can’t wait to see another! Everything in the home is original and in excellent condition. The detail he included that brought the outside design into the interior is certainly not what you see anymore,...More

One of the best Wright homes I've visited. Knowledgeable docent gave extensive tour, highlighting the unique aspects of this Usonian. The way Wright situated the home on the property is a living example of parts of his philosophy. The story of how the house came...More

I've seen pictures and read books and a view videos about the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright but to actually be in one of his creation is mind expanding. The layout and furniture design is unsurpassed. Modern builders should be required to visit this beautiful...More

We have toured about 10 flw houses and we loved this one. It’s one of the smallest but awesome. You must book tour in advance.
