If you are a fan of architecture, specifically Frank Lloyd Wright, this home is incredible. It is kept almost exactly as it was when its owners lived there. You must make an appointment to see it, and it's well worth it.

Visited here a couple years back with my brother and dad.. Pictures of lloyd's work are always amazing but nothing compares with seeing it in person.. Standing in the planes, angles and depth of the space truly gives one an understanding of wright's architectural vision.. The hostess was very informative on the tour.. I knew wright could be very detail... More

You need an appointment to get a tour. We stopped by not knowing that fact and the docent let us in to take a 5 minute look anyway. Very cool and h inquest. We were referred to the Sheldon Art Gallery for more info on FLW. Worth a stop.

With existing example of Frank Lloyd Wright's work fading from the scene, this exquisite example of his Prairie Style design is a preserved masterpiece. To fully understand this artisan's mindset, taking this excellent tour is essential. The beauty of the house and the superbly informative tour makes any visit to St. Louis a complete experience.

Loved, loved, loved it! Not a cheap tour, especially for a family of five, but worth the money. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this House for adults and children over the age of 15. Younger people with a special interest in Frank Lloyd Wright or architecture, might enjoy it, but there is nothing "hands-on" for younger... More

If you're big into Frank Lloyd Wright, then I suppose this is as good an example of his work as any, but I found it pretty dry. It's a strange little house, that I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to live in. The tour provider was friendly and knowledgeable, and the area is treed and pretty, but I wouldn't recommend... If you have been to other FLW houses, the one thing of note here is that this house is small in comparison, but definitely has the full FLW feel. It is in a great location, and has all of the typical FLW idiosyncrasies, which are always interesting. The docent who took us through the tour had a vast knowledge of... More

If you're in St Louis you should really go see this Frank Lloyd Wright house. The docents are fantastic & the tours are intimate (10 person limit, reservations needed & cash only.) There are almost no square angles -- which makes the house cool to look at. But you can really appreciate why FLW houses have a reputation for being... More

This example of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian architecture is extremely well preserved and interesting to tour. The docent was very well informed and clearly passionate about Wright's architecture. It's a little difficult to spot the entrance to the property, but when you call for reservations, the person to whom you speak at the property can give you directions so that... More
