Can't say enough about how nice this park is. The tram ride was just pure excellent, and our guide Todd went over the edge being personable and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed seeing the elk, bison, and longhorns. The care that had gone into making the park an educational resource was quite evident.

We had always heard that Dogwood Canyon Nature Park was the place to go; and finally, we checked it out. We took the 2 hour Tram Tour; and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the park as well as the animals coming up to the Tram. You must make reservations, the Tram Tour is very popular. The Tram perhaps is a... More

We took the trolley tour. The driver was friendly and informative. The tour took about 2 hours. Recommend you call ahead for reservations. Beautiful views and water falls. Get to see a lot of big trout. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We also did the walking trail and did the 1.2 mile side loop. It was very steep... More

We toured Dogwood Canyon this week. It is a beautiful outdoor attraction. Numerous water falls, a beautiful stream, and animals. Thanks to Johnny Morris for preserving this great place.

This is the most beautiful private park we have ever seen. The grounds are immaculate. There is so much to do you could spend a day there. Great for kids and picnics. There is a working grist mill and a museum. They have amazing trout streams for fishing. We took the wildlife tram tour which is the only way to... More

This place is set in the beautiful part of the country. There is a river, and trees and flowers etc. You have to pay to get in and then pay to use the trails, and pay for the special things to do and it can be a bit expensive. but it is a nice place. We watch the mill presentation... More

We LOVE Dogwood Canyon!!!! You can hike, bike, fish, ride horses, or just explore the great outdoors. We're local so we're going to purchase an annual membership. The history and indian artifacts they have discovered there are fascinating. Segway and tram tours are available or you can bring your own bike or just hike. Gorgeous waterfalls, an amazing restaurant with... More

Had a great day at dogwood canyon...I will mention it is expensive and if you're staying at big cedar I think you should get a discount. We took part in the bicycling trails...Wildlife tram...And trout fishing...Very beautiful landscape and even though it was busy we thought it is spread out enough to make it feel less hectic.

Really enjoyed our day here. It's beautiful, peaceful, slow-paced. We took the walk and went at our own pace. Only made it 1.7 miles before we had to turn around to make it out by closing. Should have gotten there earlier in the day. Ate a really filling lunch at the restaurant before starting our walk just after 3:00. (Wasn't... More

We're sure it is beautiful all the time, yet the two times we have visited during dogwood bloom have been spectacular. Well conceived and executed. The restaurant is cool, but needs to rethink the quality of food. The tree house is a bonus treat.
