For starters, I'd love to give the cave 5 stars but we didn't get to go into it, so I'm basing my 4 stars on the part we got to see. I looked all over the website and never saw the information that you couldn't...More

We toured this cave while on a weekend outing. The cave has many beautiful features and the walkways are wide with handrails along the whole way. There are a few stairs, but mostly there are ramps, although some are pretty steep, so if you have...More

We recently visited Onondaga cave state park with a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old. It was amazing! We have been to Meramac Caverns, and this state park is much grander. Many different colors in the cave. The caves were very vast! Our tour guide Truman was...More

My friend and I took the Cathedral Cave Tour. It was excellent. We loved only having flashlights to see in the cave. Most caves have lights set up throughout the cave. We saw a grotto salamander and a cave salamander and a bat. The tour...More

I did not see any bike trails, other than walking trails. The roads into the park are hilly and narrow with no shoulders, so not ideal for biking. Trail bikes might have some success, but it could be rough going for touring... More
Which river/water way is part of this State park? Is there rafting, canoes or kayaking? (Looking for shallow/safe waters for first timers) Is there lodging for non campers on state park grounds or near?

I've never floated while staying there but Ozark Outdoors is right across the river from the campground and offered rentals. Their campground is nice and everything looks clean so you might give them a try.
