Overview
More
The valley that cradles Bennett Spring has created a place of peace and recreation that has welcomed generations of enthusiastic anglers. Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri’s earliest state parks and continues today to attract fishermen and nature lovers seeking to make new memories. More than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water gush from Bennett Spring each day and form a spring branch stocked daily with rainbow trout waiting for lucky fishermen. Fishing may be the main draw but the park also offers many other amenities such as a dining lodge, campgrounds, cabins and hiking trails. Whether you are a traditional fishing enthusiast or someone seeking a place to relax and refresh, Bennett Spring State Park has what you need to make every trip one to remember.

Returning home from Branson, we stopped at Bennett Spring one of Missouri’s State Parks, which we learned had also been a CCC camp. Fishermen were everywhere fishing for and catching trout. A man proudly lifted to show me his stringer of two beautiful trout that...More

We booked two nights, tent camping, in October. We go every year at this time. Other parks we stay at have patrols that go around several times a day. This one only had one on the second day and that was because we had to...More

CCC era dining room is a historical delight. Food is only average but service is amazing. Visit the parks historical CCC points of interest and don't forget this park is famous for trout fishing in the cold water of the spring.

We have enjoyed camping at Bennett Springs. The only down side to us was that there were no fish cleaning stations like Roaring River has. People just clean their fish and toss the remains right back in the river. Kind of messy.

We have been going to Bennett Spring for over 30 years. Always a beautiful place with plenty of wildlife and variety of activities. I would NOT recommend eating at the lodge, though. We tried breakfast there twice and it was horrible. The eggs were tasteless...More

A haven for fly fishing sportspeople worldwide, the park is also a local favorite for hiking, picnicking, and just enjoying the beautiful spring-fed stream.

Beautiful setting. Good place to hike. I am not much of a fisherman but it is busy to fish. I saw fishermen at arm's length from each other. The restaurant is great!

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.

The river that is in Bennet Spring State Park is for fishing only. The nearby Niangua can be floated, however, and there are several camping/floating outfitters nearby. You can bring your own tube, kayak or canoe but... More

Just saw this question. Don't think you can ride an ATV in the state park but maybe places around there.
