If you are approaching Jasper from this direction, they would be very helpful. They had a lot of information for both the Rockies but other destinations east and west.

This is a visitor information centre and shop. There is a large car park to deal with the number of vehicles that turn up. Food is available. There are a few walks in the area but they are more hikes than gentle walks. There are...More

Mt. Robson was on our way to Jasper, so we stopped for 45 minutes or so. The weather was spectacular and the view of the mountain from the back of the Visitor Centre was outstanding with lots of wildflowers. The exhibit downstairs was also very...More

Visited here a few times during our trips to Canada from the United Kingdom. The view is stunning, as were the beautiful humming birds attracted to the sugar water that was placed in feeders in the trees. Some pleasant items in the gift shop. We...More

Even if you don't go in the visitor centre, just looking at this impressive mountain gives you goose bumps. We had a particularly clear day so I think we were very fortunate. Informative centre and gift shop.

There's a nice gift shop with lots of souvenirs, books and guides for sale. We bought a guide to easy hikes in the Canadian Rockies and used it to plan the rest of our trip. The restrooms are clean, an important consideration. Worth a stop.

When we visited the visitor center of Mount Robson, the mountain was hardly visible as it was covered with clouds. The visitor center itself is ok and in another building there is a nice gift shop.
