The Ralph Foster Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts with special emphasis on the history and culture of the Ozark Mountain Region. Originally housed in Abernathy Hall, a boy's dorm on the campus of College of the Ozarks, the building has been transformed into three floors of exhibits where visitors will find many items of interest, such as antiques, dolls, clocks, music items, a large firearms collection, natural history, and textiles, in addition to the Beverly Hillbillies truck that was used in the television series.

This museum is a good size - not too large or small. While my husband spent time examining the weapons, I had time to linger over the cameo collection and kewpie dolls, etc.

If you wanted to you could spend several hours in this place. ALOT of stuff to look at. HUGE gun collection. I can't even list all the things to see. The price is reasonable. Nothing spectacular in the museum just a lot of neat stuff. Worth the $5 entry.

Enjoyed our visit. Museum has a little bit of about everything you can think of to look at, from old antiques to stuffed animals in the collection. Was fun to see the Beverly Hillbilly's old truck on display there. Price of admission was fair in my opinion and a good value. We spent about one and a half hours there,... More

You are guaranteed to be entertained - there's something for everyone. There's fishing tackle antique boat, even the jalopy driven by the Beverly Hillbillies. There's also a good variety of household antiques, artwork, musical instruments, steam engines, tools, this place is 3 stories and it's huge. Very worthwhile

The Ralph Foster Museum has so much to offer. It has 3 floors of items that are all connected to the Ozarks in some way. The Beverly Hillbillies car is there, and lots of other artifacts. You won't be disappointed.
