College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

The unique approach to paying for a college education makes this an incredible place to visit. If you have any interest in learning about a unique way for students to literally work their way through college, go see C of O. It proves to be an impressive and unique approach to higher education.

Another must stop in the Branson area. Take some time to stroll the grounds Then enjoy a wonderful meal in the Lodge dining room. We had the pleasure of being escorted to safety during a Tornado warning and was pleased at how well it was handled

We went there after Silver Dollar City so it was after 6pm. The guard said they don't allow visitors after 6 since everything was closed but we told him we have to be back in Texas next day so he let us in getting our vehicle information. The school is quite, peaceful & scenic . The point lookout and the... More

While visiting Branson, we ate at the restaraunt located at the Ketter Center. While waiting for our table, we viewed the museum and gift shop - both also at the Ketter Center. The mission statement of this school is phenomenal. Our dinner was fabulous and modestly priced.

Who could have ever guessed that the best brunch in the Ozarks is at a college? All the students receive a tuition-free education in exchange for work on campus. Students man the buffet stations for the best Sunday brunch - from soup to desserts, including their wonderfully hand-crafted ice cream. It's even made with fresh milk from the on-campus dairy.... There are so many things to see in the museum, quite a variety and well worth every minute. It will take at least a hour and a half to two hours, it's incredable. It has wheelchair accessability too, if needed. Extremely polite students there too.

Amazing food, excellent service, fine dining! Everything is fresh and the menu is abundant! You have to try the spinach salad with a bacon vinaigrette dressing! Everything is grown right there on site and picked fresh! You will not be disappointed with this choice. Also, all the waiters and chefs etc...are students from the college studying about the hospitality and... More

We went to the Sunday Brunch with our two kids and really enjoyed it. Great assortment of food grown by and prepared by the students. We were served by Matthew who did a great job. Highly recommend driving around the campus after if its open. Must do while in Branson! Make sure to make reservations!
