I don't think the marketing for this museum is done well enough. When I saw it on the internet, it did not look interesting. However, my dad and I went to check it out and wow! The museum has so many "artifacts" from the journey. There are also great dioramas, stuffed animals, interpreters who know their stuff, and timelines with... More

A great little museum that for a small charge gives a wonderful insight into the exploration of the West. The video is particularly well worth watching. The small displays are interesting it is amazing to see what the group achieved & the part they played in the early development of this magnificent country, well worth a visit.

We enjoyed this small, but well organized museum. They have a very interesting video that provides the Lewis and Clark story with reenactment scenes. The Center is also used for educational purposes. The dioramas are expansive and well labeled to explain the journey of these explorers. The scale models of the ships used by the explorers are a nice addition... More

The full scale recreation of Lewis & Clark's largest river boat is amazing. Great dioramas in the museum; a great history lesson.

We didn't get to see the museum but the boats are clearly visible, along with a cool 1964 Chevy truck. What we saw seemed very nice.

This is a small museum on the river that has a vast amount of information on the Lewis & Clark expedition. The video is quite informative and anyone who loves history will enjoy this museum. There is also a small gift shop with some great reading on Lewis & Clark.

My husband & I really enjoyed the museum. We were in St Charles just for the weekend & decided to stop in on a whim. So glad we did! The couple that were running it were extremely nice & very knowledgeable. Kids would love it!

Very interesting display about the different camps Lewis and Clark stayed, documented by extract from the Journals. Tons of various animals to spot. if you have children ask for the scavenger hunt, it was fun. Good movie,
