We love to get there early with our chairs and picnic lunch and get in line for free seats. If not too too hot ,it can be an enjoyable time of bonding with family and friends.

I avoid this by going to the stage door and meeting the cast after the show. It's fun, you meet Broadway's best, and by the time you're done all the crowds are gone.
