See the sea lion show, polar bear, and penguins. Apes were also neat. We went in July and it was hot. There is a splash pad at the kids area (separate charge) for them to cool off.

The as-close-to-natural-in-a-zoo animal habitats are beautiful. The layout is a little overwhelming, but if you don't mind lots of walking, take time to enjoy every section!

I doubt I will be back at the St. Louis zoo. Many of the animals were MIA and a lot of the areas were smelly 😕

I saw stroller rentals when we walked in, I believe I saw other options as well to assist getting around. The zoo is very large.
