If you are willing to walk you can find free parking as well as free admission. My family hits zoos in all the towns we visit. I really liked the exhibits at this zoo that have been there since the early 1900's.

As far as zoo's go, this place seems less depressing then most. The animals have clean, nice enclosures, its easy to get around, but parking can be a bit of a pain

Loved the penguin exhibit! Allow plenty of time to see the whole zoo. There are a few activities that might have a small fee. Definitely worth going to!

There is a lot to see at the zoo. A shorter sunnier day may be preferred.
