The zoo is the biggest reason we drove 7 hours from Oklahoma. Absolutely worth it!! No question it's the best zoo I've ever seen. Highly recommend the penguin, polar bear and hippo exhibits. They herpetarium was amazing as well. We'll be back!

Even in cold weather, a great place to visit! Speaking of cold weather, the new polar bear compound is great!

It is quite a cool zoo, especially for having free admission. It was Chilly when we went so some of the animals were a bit sparse. The layout was very friendly and the monkey house was awesome. You gotta check out this place when visiting.

loved the gorillas! super cool how they were actually interacting with ppl! there is one who likes to see pictures of other gorillas and will sit there with you while you go through them and will tell you when to flip to the next one!

While on vacation with family, we visited the zoo and we were not disappointed. The Polar Bear exhibit was great.

This is always one of the best day trips we take. If you get an opportunity to watch the Sea Lions, it is definitely worth the extra ticket price.

Fantastic zoo! Free admission, charges for special things like the train ride but can easily spend the day without opening your wallet. Go early, park on the street, take your own picnic. Also enjoy the architecture.

There is a lot to see at the zoo. A shorter sunnier day may be preferred.
