We have a beautiful botanical garden right here in St Louis! I've been to many around the country and the only other one I like almost this much is in Birmingham Alabama.

It's hard not to spend a lot of time in this beautiful place. It's a "must-do" for out of town guests. Always check the festival schedule too.

Expansive garden, set in the middle of the city. The Japanese Garden is amazing, with many shrines throughout. The English garden has a little bench tucked away inside a gazebo, perfect for just relaxing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to walk around. Amazing collections of plant families, all neatly labeled. I wish we were there when they were in bloom. Peaceful areas to sit. A definite to do when in St Louis

Kind of place that you want to keep coming back to. Groomed nature, Bucky Fuller geodesic dome, awesome kid's area. And then there are the wonderful evening concerts, Japanese festival, and more!

Great place to spend the entire day and you can take the kids. Pay attention to festivals and seasons on their website and plan to stay a long time.

Unless you are a botanist, a morning or an afternoon is enough to see the highlights. Otherwise you could spend a lifetime. :)

The Botanical Gardens are less than a half hour away from Bush Stadium. If you like flowers and horticultural things, this is a place for you to visit. If not, don't.
