I must be a kid at heart because I absolutely adore The Magic House! What a wonderful place. There are SO MANY cool exhibits here. If you have children you have to check it out. Tip: There are often coupons floating around.

We had to change vacation plans at last minute so we decided on St. Louis. First stop Magic House. 9 of us, with 3 being under 39 months, all charged as adults. Enjoyed it but a lot of the exhibits were not functioning. Granddaughters love...More

Traveling with a 4 year old can be challenging. This children's museum kept him fully engaged for the 5 hours we were there. And best of all: healthy food/snacks to purchase!

We were told to come here by some friends of ours, but it really wasn't worth the money. We came with our one year old and four year old. It seemed a little outrageous to pay $11 for a one year old that couldn't do...More

Sometimes on vacation there is a rainy day. This is a great way to spend it if you have children and young teenagers. It's busy in April because the local schools use it as a field trip. It has been so successful that it has...More

The time spent here was great! There was so much to do for our three year old. The only negative was the price; anyone one or older costs $11. If the cost was lower, this would be a five star attraction.

Check it out... This was a great visit for myself, wife and girls (6 and 9). End of day, it is a fantastic children's museum but still a children's museum. The Magic House does everything well. Cafe, bathrooms throughout, enough space to enjoy activities, and...More

I used to think this was awesome but it seemed lacking this time. At least parking was easy but the things to do seemed all for smaller kids and pretty basic--they did love getting static through their hair! Sand castle was cool. $11 admission

A fun way to spend a few hours, although I feel this is a place for younger kids. The line was pretty long but the wait wasn't so bad when we went. Definitely worth a stop!

My 5 years old son and 10 years old daughter had lots of fun. My son enjoyed the construction zone, fishing, and supermarket. My daughter enjoyed the static ball (makes your hair straight - in a funky way). They have a very cool bubble zone...More

We are traveling with three grandchildren, ages 7, 12 and 14. Would the exhibits appeal to the two older children?

Yes! I have almost as much fun as my granddaughter.
Any kid friendly hotels nearby with water activities? We are traveling from Chicago and need to stay the night.
