The Vienna Boys Choir had a Christmas performance at the Basilica! Having the music and the environment truly was a special night. It is a remarkable building and the mosaics will dazzle and impress anyone. The building, itself, is a giant work of art!

Amazing place for lots of reasons, not least of which is the extraordinary craftsmanship of the mosaics. We were present when a volunteer was giving a presentation on the decor-- very useful.

This is a beautiful Basillica. With 41.5 million tiles there is something to see in every corner. The 5 pm Sunday Mass was beautiful with a nice homily and pipe organ music.

Absolutely breath taking. Our 2nd visit to a Minor Basilica and the most impressive. Had to wait until Mass was over (about 30min) but gave us a little more time to visit the gift shop and take pics outside. Definitely worth the stop. You could...More
