Very ornate cathedral. So many mosaics. This is a wonderful spot for quiet reflection. Be sure to get a guide from the entry way that gives more insight into the different mosaics.

This place is amazing. It has over 83000 square feet of mosaic tile and the rest of the church is beautiful. I would recommend going on a weekday afternoon because it's very uncrowded

What a beautiful church! I was amazed at the size of this cathedral. It had several impressive statues and small details to look at. I was definitely impressed.

I am not sure what it would cost to build this place but it would be a lot. I was blown away how beautiful this place was. The marble, the cut glass and was just amazed. I thought it would be a 10 minute stop and I spent over an hour at this place just looking at the architecture. We... More

As a lifelong Catholic, I've been in a lot of churches. I have never seen one as ornate and beautiful as this one. It was a great experience to be able to share the experience with my husband who is not Catholic and my daughter who is young and learning about Catholicism. She enjoyed it just as much as we... Incredible. My wife and I have traveled in Europe and visited many Cathedrals, this one is just as impressive. Plenty of free parking and the mosaic museum in the basement is will worth the two dollars.

The cathedral basillca is majestic. Definitely a must visit for St. Louis. All of the mosaic painting and stories are stunning and beautiful. Check out the cathedral museum downstairs. We easily spent about one hour enjoy the paintings, art, and architecture in the cathedral.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Basilica and attend Sunday Mass. We were awestruck by the gorgeous mosaics throughout the Church. We noticed that there were tours available of the Church and a welcoming reception for visitors after the 10 AM Mass on Sundays. We felt blessed to have had the opportunity to visit such a magnificent building!

Impressive, European style cathedral. Very quiet inside. We sat in for a mass so didn't get a chance to tour.
