City garden is nice for a leisurely stroll in St. Louis. There are often food trucks parked outside during the workday and so it's one of the more active places in town. But dead after dark.

Every city should have a park like city garden running through the town. My teenagers and I visited twice to enjoy the quirky, contemporary sculptures and water features. On hot afternoons, children are actually encouraged to play in the water features in a supervised setting....More

An outdoor sculpture garden that covers about 4 blocks. Three blocks are sort of interesting but the last one is a worthless area with a thing granite wall (triangle) that has no purpose. This last black ruins the entire "garden" and could be a great...More

I really enjoyed my stop at City Garden. I had seen photos of the disembodied head online, and was anxious to see it. This park, unlike many other structure parks, allows guests to walk through the sculptures. There were also a few water features that...More

We ate breakfast at Kaldis (fantastic by the way) and then strolled through the park with the kids. It was great fun. The kids loved the stepping stones next to the waterfall, the fountains and art pieces. Wish we would have brought their bathing suits.

We walked to arch from hotel thru City Garden and it was a very pleasant diversion. Kids enjoyed it a lot.

Great in the day but better at night. Flowers and trees were blooming. Cool breeze. In the evening, lights made the sculptures look brilliant.

What a surprise. Getting a little exercise after a long conference day. A breath of fresh air and a short walk was in order. The sculpture are fun, interesting, and free.

Conveniently close to Hilton Ballpark and Arch. Would be better if warmer out. Street parking and nearby garage.

City Garden is located downtown near the old court house and Arch. Make sure you stop by. There are fabulous art installations in lovely gardens. The water features were still empty for winter season and I imagine they must be wonderful in summer.

Good question! I walked up the street to the Old Union Station (Hilton Curio Hotel) and found restrooms in the lobby.
