This park is a grand part of Saint Louis History. It has 11 Victorian pavilions and much more.

The land was donated by Henry Shaw, Shaws Gardens just down the street is another must see during warmer seasons. The park has fresh water plants and many events.

We were here last summer and again this winter, and each season had its appeal in the park. Other reviews list the attractions, so I won't repet them. We were staying in an AirBnB apartment nearby and took our daily walks around the park. Next rtip I plan to spend some time in the botanical buildings, and maybe catch brunch.

Lots to see - a proper English-inspired Victorian walking park, with sculptures, vistas, pavilions, quaint bridges, follies in the form of ruins, ponds and fountains and spots for bird watching - and for eating. Go any time. It's safer now than ever, and I've been in the area for over 50 years so I know. Many sports activities during the... More

Tower Grove is "The Gay Park" so if you are gay it's a place to go. It's in South City which is rife with drugs and prostitutes. There are several gay events held there.

This is the best park in the city. But if you think Forest Park is the best park around, please continue to think so. And go there. This one is in our back yard and we are fine with the masses heading to Forest Park. More for us to enjoy. :)

Very pretty park close to the botanical garden. Several gazebos, playgrounds, lake, good for walking & biking. Especially pretty in the fall & spring.

One of the last Victorian parks in the country. Nice place to relax and also enjoy the sculptures and the gazebos. Great place to picnic especially if you are romantic.

A gorgeous park! It's pretty big and surrounded by beautiful old homes. It's kept up pretty well, lots of walking and biking trails, gazebos and green space. Lots of historical buildings too. It was clean and there were lots of people roaming around.

I live walking distance from this park, and I love going there on a daily basis. There are 3 total playgrounds in the park, plenty of picnic spots, a fountain that kids can swim in during the summer months, ponds with ducks in them, tennis courts along with many other activities and sights to see. I just love walking in... More

This is the largest English style walking park in the USA. It is a lovely place to go anytime of the year. Autumn is especially beautiful due to all of the varieties of trees and their gorgeous colors. The lily ponds are really great. And the Lindell Hotel Ruins are a nice backdrop. The pagodas and picnic pavilions have truly... More
